I was able to get the new LEGION Go S 8" with Steam OS down a little using a GOVX discount matched with a Welcome ECoupon Discount. It's not a huge discount, but its decent enough.
First you'll need to sign in with a GOVX account. They're very easy to create and most local and federal agencies count. They're very lenient on who they let in my experience.
Second, you'll need to browse the site and get a "get $100 off your next order" email. If you've already gotten one, you can use a different email, but still use the code on your govx account.
Doing these steps will net you $785.63.
