I'm reading that some/all of this documentary was taken from Blue Planet II. I do not have this so I can not confirm.

Sadly some BBC/Disney documentaries steal (reuse) footage from other documentaries. It's often hard to find good info on this important topic. A little footage reuse is fine, but not too much. Some documentaries have been all material cut from a series (like Planet Earth) and made into a movie... like a dumbed down version for ADDers.

Exactly. Given how short it is, it's not worth $10 on 4K/Bluray. If it were $5 I'd still be borderline for so little material. It's the same reason I have passed on most of the IMAX documentaries in 4K or 3D even when they have been $9.99... too expensive for too little material. I know people have knee jerk reactions to this word, but I'll say it again because I think it fits regarding 40 minutes for $10: greed.

Funny you bring up "common sense".
This seasons flu(influenza) has killed approximately 16,000 people we are at 2,500 with COVID-19. The flu fluctuates somewhere in that range every year.
Yet people wearing mask, making these silly assumptions about this COVID-19 šŸ™„

The common sense missing in all this is in both cases, thee biggest thing(and it's a big one) you can do to help in prevention is WASH YOUR HANDS yet I can't tell you how many times I go to public restroom and people do not wash their hands!
