Maybe if you are a bull in a china shop... You asked why they exist, i tell you then you come back with some silly response. Dont ask questions you don't want the answer to.
I have both and find uses for both. If you have any old sander belts that de-laminated where they are joined, I cut those up for the 1/4 sheet sander that works in rough sanding corners. And sometimes there are some super deals on sheet sandpaper, like at Menards, where after the rebate they are free or almost free. Sure, I can cut rounds out of them, but square is a lot easier...

PS: And here is a really cool use for the 1/4 sheet sanders... most have holes in the metal corners and you can screw them to concrete forms for vibrating. I have done this many times for counter tops and other small concrete projects, but I use more than one... maybe 4 to 6 of them.
Ever try and get into a corner with a round sander? Very good deal but i do agree it would be a home run with an orbital sander.

100% agreed. Don't understand why they still even make the 1/4 sheet style.

Yep. Do it with a 1/4 sheet and you Jack up the edges of the corner.

combo = they are getting rid of overstock. This price has been like this for a while, but is really good, considering the price of the router by itself

For trim routers, go cordless for easy maneuvering. For router table obviously corded. Corded trim is not ideal. Pay extra for the cordless. Worth it.

1/4 Sheets come out cheaper than orbital sheets without a sale. They have have their uses. But i agree orbital for general sanding i find better.

Actually yes, you can use Lowe's Movers Coupons at HD but brick and mortar, not online.

You can buy 20 on eBay "Lowe's Movers Coupons", for $10. You can use the coupon for 10% off your purchase at Home Depot, up to $50 off, AKA $500 purchase amount. If buying lots of items, make multiple transactions or trips.
