Either do S&S for a few pennies lower

OR do super saver and get $1 digital credit.

I paid $6 at guitar center yesterday.

strangely, amazon has this listed slightly differntly for close to $7

I go through roughly 72 a year either by losing them or wearing out. I use Tortex sharp 1.5mm so once they lose their edge it affects my playing more than you'd think. I play in 2 bands and play at least an hour a day, usually more so plenty of opportunities to lose them and wear them out.

Thanks for posting OP. It's the normal amazon price few a few months now, assuming S&S and digital credit were available previously. Source is attached.

Also have yellow 72 pack for $13.40

72 = 6 x 12 so 6x number of picks for $13.40
vs
6 12 packs = 6 x $3.31 = $19.86

Looks like sweetwater has similar pricing for presidents day sale. Amazon is probably just following suit.

Just curious why someone need 72 guitar picks. I have 1 and it lasts me couple years now. I only play guitar maybe about 10 minutes a month though.

I wouldn't need that many but if you were a touring musician I could see wanting that many. I keep maybe 5 sitting around and lose them in my couch cushions. then it's easier to just grab a new one lol. Then later gather them all up when they disappear. I dont wear them out very quick but I use 1.5mm... And I play probably an hour a day or more.

I gig about 50x a year so yeah I go though them, lose them mainly.

I have a bowl full of them at my studio and grab a handful each time I go out, lucky if half come back with me.

That said, it's been about 2 years since I last bought a 72 pack, maybe half of those are gone. But this price was too good to pass for a re-up.

I started with these Dunlop tortex and Delrin picks. I use mostly thinner gauge (~.73). I am surprised a lot of these I got from Dunlop was not totally flat and curved to one side; some more severe then the others. May be it is because of the thinner gauge but certainly not acceptable to me.

But then I discovered Ultex (or Ultem the material other brands use) when it first came out ... and never looked back. For acoustic guitar it is the best value pick and sound a lot better than the tortex/delrin/nylon picks imo. And 100% of Dunlop Ultex(regular/sharp/triangle) are totally flat and the bevel are all perfectly consistent. And they don't break. You will only loose them but you won't break them.

My rotation includes multiple gauges of Ultex/Ultex-Sharp/Ultex-Triangle/Flow/Primetone/Clayton Ultem-Flex/Clayton Ultem. For the thumb its Ultex/FredKelly Slick/FredKelly Speed. Not impressed with the Primetone though for 3x the price of Ultex.
Great tone control for acoustic guitar and stuff to play with and cure your spontaneous GAS attack :-)

I lose them constantly in 1 room and they disappear. I go through a couple a week.
