Appears so. I have not seen personally seen the laptop, but TN panel on this laptop apparently makes it worse. Otherwise, decent specs.
Bought a very similar looking Dell laptop a year ago. It seems every computer company has hundreds of thousands of laptop TN panels in stock they need to get rid of. So that's why some or most deals are badly balanced with these TN panels.
The $480 HP IPS touchscreen seems like the better deal but with 256 gb instead of 512.
Wasn't ice lake supposed to have native WiFi 6? Why would they use a Qualcomm chip?
They're probably trying to clear out their outdated, old stock instead of making the best product. It's usually the high end expensive ones that get the best parts. All businesses do this for the most profit and least amount of loss. If they gave the latest greatest premium parts at a budget price no one would buy the expensive premium products.

Which HP are you looking at? Any chance you have a link? Thanks
I am in Sam's club and they have a 13.3" Inspiron 7373 Touchscreen Laptop that also says "Inspiron 13 7000 2 in 1" on the keyboard area. Besides the size difference and certain internal spec differences. Are they pretty similar regarding build quality, thinness, bezels etc.
Looking for a decent spec laptop 13.3"-14" thats has the slim and nice build quality of something like this one I am seeing in Sams
