Everyone gets hung up on max lumen output, but I think run time is an under valued consideration.
Depends the type of work you're doing. As an electrician, I can say that 100 lumens is plenty to illuminate what I'm working on

If you need to see several feet ahead of you clearly, I recommend 300+ lumens. I run in the dark almost every morning.

I think this is a good deal on car/tent camping trips. Good enough to walk to the bathroom or work in the tent. There's a purpose for these little lights. Use the red to keep your night vision.

Use a car battery with the headlights... should run for quite a while
