Not an experienced SD poster, but I came across this deal. Seems slick vs reg $31. Current sale is $18.76..

I'm showing 20% off with my current S&S, thought it maxed at 15, even without seems like a solid deal. You decide, my Bengals love it.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

You know, I hate websites like that. Just like feeding your kids, fed is best. I have a fleet of farm cats that thrive on the cheapest and "worst" cat food out there. They are all healthy and definitely not malnourished. I have 3 indoor cats that get that same cat food along with Purina One hairball formula. They only get the Purina One as a supplement and only because I'm tired of scraping dried hairball vomit off of every soft surface in the house despite having all hardwood floors. I've also tried other hairball formulas and Purina One seems to be the best, especially when considering cost.

Don't let mommy guilt get the best of you. Cats have thrived for thousands of years on what is now considered sub standard food. Do what you can if you feel the need to, but don't go broke or beat yourself up over not being able to do it.

This is a good price. Concerning is information from a link mournerslament posted in the other Purina One thread. "Overall, Purina ONE [insert Purina ONE variety] Cat Food is a significantly below average cat food, earning 4 out of a possible 10 paws based on its nutritional analysis and ingredient list." https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...lies/frown.gif

I have two long haired Persian cats and tried almost every hairball formula food. HUGE improvement with Purina ONE. IAMS, Hills Science, Royal Canin - not so much. Maybe they have too large a kibble for their older teeth? Ordered this with Mommy guilt and will try Wellness or Exclusive rated high on the website. https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...lies/smile.gif

My 9 year old long hair has gastroparesis like me and one tooth to boot. He will starve before eating anything but dry iams or purina one-- this one-- and the hairball pukes decreased drastically. I tried 30+ foods, flavors, textures and brands before determining my cat will starve instead of soil his mouth with stank food. I do grind up frozen mice on occasion with chicken though.

I paid $1.96/lb. at Walmart two days ago for the vibrant maturity flavor ($13.96 shelf price)
I've been holding out for a publix BOGO for months but haven't caught one. BOGO is $1.16/lb. before coupons which have gotten it as low as $0.47/lb.

this is $0.685/lb

edited for math.

I can't count the varieties of cat food my cat has snubbed his nose at. Just make sure your kitty likes this before you dive into a 22lb bag.

Great deal as I usually pay $18 for a 16lb bag. Purina one is the only brand that my cats will eat and does not make them throw up. I used to only feed higher end brands and then a few years ago something seemed to change and my cats started getting sick and refusing to eat them. Felt bad going to lower end food, but my cats actually seem healthier since the switch.

Or rather than kissing their arse with a menu of options, just don't give them the option to eat anything else. Guess what happens? They will eat whatever you feed them when they get hungry enough.

You hate websites that provides a free service to help consumers compare the ingredients of cat food to make the best decision for their wallet and their animal. Nice.

Listed in the ingredients in order after turkey it's brewers rice, corn gluten meal, poultry by-product meal, and soybean meal. That's mostly just filler, wow.
