The one I just bought has a blown bass speaker underneath. The moment I plugged it in the whole thing rattled even with the volume at zero. If this is what they call refurbished then they did not inspect anything. They just wiped it down and made it look pretty and clean.

I do like new entrants into the market given the current well-rated brands are super overpriced. However, the sheer amount and variety of complaints regarding Ultimea products makes me not even want to give them a chance. I hope they realize that they need to work out the kinks before spamming the market. They can take serious marketshare away from Sonos, Samsung, and Sony.

So... I ordered three and received only one, and the one I received was "Used - Very Good" instead of refurbished.

It does sound decent for what it is (mini desktop speakers), but it hisses a little. And where does it get the 120W when the PSU is only 33W?

Edit: Turns out the other two units arrived next day as separate packages. They were also "Used - Very Good" instead of refurbished.
