This Is the TV I want to buy later in the year and it has been $3799 forever. Not much movement on it for some reason. The 65 and 55 LG OLEDS keep dropping in price and nothing happens with the 77.

I'm in the same boat. I can buy 2 65" for the price of one 77. The economics is absurd.

Yeah, I'm in the market for something over a 75" and I don't understand why these 77's haven't dropped at all pretty much from last years model to this one. Hopefully this years OLEDS from Vizio, and Sony force some more drops on these TV's.

$3800 is way too high at this point in time, and it's been sitting at this price forever. Hell, I will skip it and just wait for a better deal on the CX than I will buy this at $3,800.

65 has not been dropping, it has been staying steady at a higher price then it was several months ago

If you lookin LG Displays performance as a business they're barely profitable. They bet everything on OLED (research/manufacturing investment) ... and the bigger the display the lower the (flawless) yields. I think there's a lot of pressure there that holds these prices high. But I believe they're gonna be making a stronger push on quantity, so... who knows.
