Reviews on Amazon aren't great. Motor is a Chinese "ShineRay" which was enough for me to stay away. I'll wait for a deal on a Briggs or Honda powered model.

While its 100 times better than any electric unit, this is hardly a beast of a machine. It's still just throw away quality washer.

The ones sold by Amazon "may" be different? I got the last one at my Walmart and it's a 6.5 horse Kohler.

Thanks for the heads up. Been waiting for a deal on one of these. Something better to clean my patio. My 1800psi just doesn't do the job. Hopefully it's in stock as shows by me

you are better off with a refurbed unit with a subaru or honda motor from direct tools outlet.

Walmart page indicates Kohler motor. Not sure how good those are though.

I ordered mine from direct tools website, didn't go in store, arrived kinda beat up and didn't work. Glad they were good about returns, although repacking and hauling it to FedEx was a hassle.

I bought one. Definitely a kohler RH265 engine. There seems to be two models, one with K at the end to denote Kohler and the other for the Stanley engine.

The kohler RH265 is on this well reviewed Simpson at HD.
