The Planet Earth II and Blue Planet II discs go up to 80Mbps (or sometimes even a little higher) using H.265 / HEVC, which is going to be the same codec used for UHD streaming that will cap out around 16Mbps - 18Mbps.

In my opinion, this makes a super huge difference in some content, and a lot of streaming UHD looks closer to 1080p when considering the overall picture quality (ignoring pixel count).

A good price and a good use of credits, but as far as this being a slick deal, CCC indicates that this has been the price since April 2019.

depends on your internet connection. for me, i cannot see any difference but i imagine for people with slower internet the physical 4k disc would be preferable.

if you get dial-up internet in a cave then not... but for most people it is.

Oof. Amazon had a sale a bit ago for $5 each season.
Amazon puts most shows on sale for $10/season a few times a year, and $5 each season for many shows.
As someone who has spent over $5k on digital content, I can tell you that as a slick dealer you should avoid paying more than $10 per.
