Another data point. I activated and got the code to use on the ebaysimrewards website. I waited a couple days and thought I got nothing. Finally followed the instructions to check my SPAM folder and found $25 ebay code from Cashstar. I was checking spam regulary but for some reason Gmail marked the message as read already so I didn't see the notification. Used the GC code on an ebay purchase w/o issue.

I've been considering Net10's $240 annual plan available only on Ebay so that we can get back to AT&T's network. Verizon is heavily deprioritized in my area. Wonder if this promotion would work with that or if you have to actually subscribe to a monthly plan?

Like don't activate that phone, just hopefully the recharge code comes separately and not in the same SIM or already in the SIM. Buy SIM from eBay use the recharge code from that deal, does it make sense?
