The lotion is $14.48/24oz = $0.60/oz
The cream is $10.98/19oz = $0.58/oz
I have dry but oily skin. The cream by itself is hard to work in to my skin. What I found worked great for me based on a tip i picked up was to put in 2-3 drops of squalane oil (you can get the cheapest one on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/Squalane-100-Pure-60-mL/dp/B003MJG19K/ref=sxts_sxwds-bia-wc1_0?cv_ct_cx=squal... [amazon.com]

For newbies to skincare, this is pretty amazing stuff. Another thing, i use their Cerave PM in the evening for the niacinamide.

What's the difference between Cear Ve cream and lotion?

I want to get it for someone, but not sure which one they prefer.

thanks!

The creme is way thicker. I prefer the lotion personally.

I prefer the cream, less watered down it feels.

I have not tried their lotion, but the cream pump is part of my morning and bedtime routine. I apply it before going to bed on dry areas, including my face and I do my face once again in the am before applying makeup.

I'd actually love to get more input on their lotion, as it's much cheaper than the cream!

I find it takes less cream to get the same results as the lotion.

I am sorry to repeat the question. So ... you mean lotion is better than cream? Thank you.
No, I prefer the cream as it seems to me that you use less. The lotion is too "runny" and watered down.

I use both. I put the lotion on in the morning before my makeup. At night I use the cream before bed. The cream is quite thick, but works very well for super dry skin. The lotion is thinner so it dries quickly, but doesn't work as well as the cream.

Cream is thicker than lotion. Our dr. Said to use cream for our 16 month old due drybl skin on his body. Cream stays longer than lotion.

One question, what is the shelf life of these winter body lotion/moisturizing cremes in general? I generally don't see any expiry date on them. How long is it safe to use them?
