Just a heads up: It doesn't stop it from being a good deal, and it may not matter to everyone, but the versions on iTunes are not in their original 4:3 aspect ratio.

This is not true. When it was broadcast in the UK it did not have a laugh track. The DVD release allows you to turn the laugh track off. I would guess that the same ability may even be there with these but I don't know that .

Great deal for one of televisions greatest series of all time.
Do the math. 256 episodes for $29.99 is less then 12 cents an episode.
Worth the investment.

Unedited versions too. Not the ones they play on TV where they have cut several minutes out of every episode to squeeze in additional commercials.

What if you don't have i-tunes though? Can I download a copy of each episode and put it on my home server?

Cropped from bottom and top BUT also a bit expanded on the sides. Would have preferred the original 4:3 like TNG. These look great in HD, bless shows shot on film.

Wait are you saying that itunes stretched these out to 16:9, to fit widescreen TVs?? Cuz that honestly would be a dealbreaker for me. I really don't wanna watch something where they've just lopped off the top and bottom of the picture. Why would they do this? Do they really think people are gonna be upset if a TV show from 40 years ago doesn't perfectly fit on their TV?
