JBL - 3.1-Channel Soundbar System with 10" Wireless Subwoofer and Digital Amplifier - Black

First post, please be kind. Wanted to help out for people on the market for a 3.1 Soundbar.

Lowest previous price I had seen was $279.99 to $299.99. Read that few complaints are that mids are lacking and the Soundbar has aggressive standby mode, but with a rocking sub.

Best Buy and Amazon have same price.

$77.67 (26%) off the 3-month average ... price history attached for reference showing roughly:

$313 --> $300 --> $280 --> $220

More a 2018 model. I've found that more temperature and humidity swings; more wireless connection problems with most soundbar manufacturers. So just sitting in a warehouse with less environmentally controlled conditions, can hasten connection problems.

I've had this for maybe 2-3 years (paid $220ish at bestbuy). Overall good, but mids are lacking and bass is overpowering (the latter can be adjusted). Good, but not great. I'd still buy it again, though.

Not a great bar, I bought 4 bars to try.

1. Vizio SB3621 ($120)
2. Yamaha YAS-207 ($160)
3. This. ($230 refurbed)
4. Polk SB1 Plus ($220 refurbed)

Vizio was surprisingly great, no wonder it's been getting all the praise.

Yamaha's good but not worth the difference to the Vizio unless you NEED HDMIs

JBL has great lows and highs, but shitty mids. When I say shitty, it doesn't exist. Returned the next day.

Polk sounded the best, but if you aren't super super super picky about audio stuff, you can't go wrong with the Vizio.

Anyone have any subwoofer recommendations under $250? 12x10 room, no apartment so bring the bass.

This makes sense to me as Electronics do not like moisture but do you have any references for this other than personal knowledge? I would like to know more.
