Have been eyeing this camera for a few months--cheapest I've seen it since November of 2019 and Adorama is including a battery grip.

Recent firmware update has given the G9 (a primarily photography focused camera compared to the GH5) 10-bit video recording.

Camera has been selling for $1200 as of late so this is a $200 discount (not including the value of the battery grip).

Amazon and Best Buy selling for similar price but without bundle.

    Been eyeing this as well and noticed the price drop today. Looks like everyone drops their price on the G9, but the the battery grip makes this a great deal.

    $1600 was the good price everyone listed these at during the holidays but they were sold out much of that time, and this adds the grip. You can register this for a 3-year extended warranty with Panasonic for no additional charge.

    Considering it's an $800 lens by itself... it's a better deal. However, that depends if you want the Leica 12-60mm.

    To anybody else looking at this camera. I bought mine used with a LUMIX 12-60mm lens and extras for $850. I would have jumped on this just to have the additional warranty. Great deal and probably the best all around camera for the money today.

    The Leica lens is one of their better rated lenses. It goes for $800 on its own (right now at least, not sure about history). The kit is discounted $200 at several sellers, like the body, so on its own it's a good deal. With the battery grip, it's a pretty good deal from what I can tell, if you're in the market for the whole combo.

    I ended up posting that as a separate deal, since the lens kit is something I've had on my 3x-camel watchlist and it fired off this morning. Didn't realize about the battery grip until I saw this one posted, so seems like a great deal to me.

    Been this price before but not with the grip. This is a really good price. If I didnt have 2 I'd buy other. If its shipping with firmware 1.2 then you can hack it to have unlimited record limit. I highly recommend. It beats my FF cameras especially when using beyond 50mm.

    I have g85 and gx85. Do I have a reason to upgrade? New firmware 10bit recording make this camera compared to black magic? Bundle grip comparable with g85? I saw VIVItar grip looks like interchangeable between g85 and g95 .

    Yeah, I'm hoping it has the older firmware. I read about that hack before. I don't care about the new 10 bit video mode they added in the newer firmware, and I'd rather have the ability to record long videos at 4k60.

    Kind of off topic but how is g85 vs gx85? I already have a gx85 but I was considering picking up a g85 as well, since it has a nice sensor.
