You are comparing apples and oranges. The reason this saw is so great is because of the glider as opposed to slider. This is a HUGE space saver when it comes to compact setups in workshops. The depth needed behind the saw is minimal in comparison to a normal sliding miter saw. The only other 3 brands that I know that have gliding or reverse sliding miters are Hitachi, Makita and Festool.
Don't forget the Delta Cruzer. I have the 10" and like it quite abit. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Delta...lsrc=aw.ds

Better deal (I'll definitely prefer the 12 vs 10):

DEWALT 12-in 15-Amp Dual Bevel Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw for $349 @ 35% off

Even though it's a 10 and not a 12 I think the bosch is the better deal. The proprietary glide system is invaluable imo. You cant go wrong with the dewalt saw, but if space is ever an issue, or you want to save space in your shop, the bosch is unmatched in that aspect

The home depot link says unavailable and doesn't even show the saw. I wish it was available at HD because I just got coupons in the mail

Great saw, horrible dust collection. We all know miter saw are notoriously bad at dust collection, but this one is one of the worst at it.

Delta also makes the Cruzer lineup like this. I absolutely love my Delta Cruzer 10". These new designs are massive space savers

That's the same model I've had for the last two years and I've loved it. I installed a custom shadow line LED light into the head of mine and it is as great a tool as I've ever owned. My biggest gripe was that they actually designed it with the capability to have a light installed for a shadow line but never sold the light itself. Has the casing for a wire to be hidden and everything. They just never made the light. It was a fun and simple diy mod to add to the saw though and I'm glad they included the housing for a light
