Not trying to make light of what has been a tragedy for thousands of people but there's no limit to how many downstream entities are impacted by China going offline.

Slowing transpacific trade certainly hurts our ability to order cheap stuff but that's for the best. Those container ships burn bunker fuel which is massively polluting. One of these ships produces the same emissions as 50 million automobiles. I love these cheap products but it's important to recognize they come with a hidden cost.
