Bought my 65" Q80 from greentoe for $1449 last week. That price included NY tax and shipping. That's the lowest it has been since November. Around Black Friday there was a greentoe (tax and shipping included) deal for $1370. That's the lowest it has ever been
Rtings is a good place to find such comparisons. Simply put, OLED will always have better picture. However, in a bright room, the playing field is leveled somewhat. The Q80 has great anti-reflective and can get way brighter than OLED. It doesn't have perfect blacks but comes pretty darn close for a standard LED TV. Also, it's a couple hundred cheaper than the B9 and a few hundred cheaper than the C9. There is also no risk of burn-in. I have a fairly bright living room, don't trust my wife to take the proper burn-in precautions, and was happy to save a few hundred vs. buying an OLED, so went with the Q80.
