eufy doorbell cam is back at $108 after coupon on page, plus promo code DBSDCD77.

great camera, I've been using for about three months. it sends instant notification upon detecting a person which includes a close-up 'mug shot' of the person's face. obviously its not perfect but most of the time, it's a very convenient and useful to have feature.

the resolution is 2k which is double that of most competition, such as ring v1, v2, or pro. if you have been holding off on getting a video doorbell, I would recommend giving it a shot. I held off for a long while since I have a wuze cam facing out the front window, but the automatic features of this eufy (plus the fact that it's an actual doorbell) as well as the near-instant notifications, make this one of my most useful purchases in quite awhile.

I'd buy this if it had RTSP or ONVIF but doesn't look like it.

Unfortunately, haven't seen a decent doorbell cam that does. Want to hook it into BlueIris. Hate this cloud/storage nonsense.
I've had mine four months. For the price and no need for clould storage, it's fantastic. The motion detection for my setup, even with the custom settings for dead zones, isn't that good. I wish the software allowed for multiple zones instead of just one active and one dead zone.

I paid $110. I've seen it less than this deal, but it's worth it.
Thoughts on using this as a replacement for a failing Ring Pro? Never been that satisfied with the Ring's image quality nor its ability to deal with high contrast skies

Anyone know if they have a plan to support ONVIF in a future camera or this one?

Thanks, OP. Been on the fence for a long time. Thought I don't really need it with my Wyze porch cam, but love the idea of having video connected through my doorbell. Plus I can silence the chime during nap times!

My house is about 10ft from the sidewalk, will this detect cars and people passing by? I would only want notifications of people approaching my house which seems impossible. I currently have a Blink camera facing down to give me notifications and avoid the passing traffic but I don't get faces.

Does this require a monthly subscription to see historic video?

Interested in a ring pro comparison also. I like the ring pro but it's a bit slower than it used to be. Also not a fan of the monthly fees...

OP, how did you find this promo code? Trying to figure out if there is a deal for the doorbell with homebase

They have some pretty decent notification/recording filters. It was actually doing that too well for me, and I wanted the opposite so I told it to record all motion.

You can tell it to only look for people or less motion, and you get the ability to set a "only look here" or "ignore here" box, too.

No, it's all stored locally, which could then be stolen, but it's just the upfront cost.

I recently bought the newer camera base, which I've heard can also offload doorbell video
