As far as the panic:
What I've been hearing is that h1n1 was basically not deadly compared to a standard flu. This is, as far as data from China shows, much more deadly than a standard flu. I think it's what they see going on in China, so the worry of it happening here. But basically, if someone may be sick with flu-like symptoms, best to quarantine themselves rather than spread it. Unfortunately people aren't good about doing that, so panic ensues with the healthy who worry about themselves and their family. We'll see what happens. Here's some info I found when I looked up "Coronavirus vs. flu fatalities".
Also there is this info:
Contagiousness
How far a virus will spread comes down to what's known as the reproduction number, or R0. It relates to how many people each infected person will pass the illness on to.
There have been various estimates for new coronavirus so far from different sources, but the WHO put a preliminary estimate as between 1.4 and 2.5.
The pandemic (H1N1) 2009 influenza virus, which was also known as swine flu, had a R0 of between 1.2 to 1.6, according to the WHO, which made controlling its spread easier than viruses with higher transmissibility.

Update: No Time To Die has been moved to Nov. 25th now due to COVID-19.
Do your Cinemark theaters not take Atom? Ours started to a while back and Regal stopped it. Better for me since I prefer Cinemark (even though it's on the other side of town).
