I would be careful with that considering the tech industry is expected to have a lot of shortages in the coming months due to production in asia shutting down. Prices may go up quite a bit soon.

Heck I just upgraded to a 2700x from a 2600 back around the holidays last year. But heck, if AMD processors keep having quick price drops like this I'll upgrade every year til my x470 board is no longer supported lol

It may convert it to Gamepass Ultimate, if you never used any of the Ultimate buy ins. I'm base this off of thinking that your refer to regular Gamepass as in Xbox Gamepass. If you are adding to an existing PC Gamepass. read the fine print on the product page.

Great processor! Have had mine since Christmas and it's run perfectly. Have it paired with an MSI gaming edge x570 and a Corsair liquid cooler and it never gets above 71°c.
