This griddle can absolutely handle bbq lol. Maybe not a 5-8 hour slow smoked brisket, but it can do short ribs and steaks just fine!
Steaks aren't bbq, bro

This is a great deal. just the 22 inch griddle sells for more than $100. The stand and lid are a huge bonus.

the lid for my 17 cost $40. Thanks!

I was going to ask the same for tacos in general. Carnitas are tricky because usually you fry those is a disc.

How much better is this compared to throwing a flat cast iron on a normal bbq?? I notice mine gets rust colors after each use...

Is the 12$ 3 year warranty worth it? Not sure how many movable parts it has to worry about it breaking.

I was thinking the same but it looks like the hood comes off and obviously the stand as well. I'd be curious to know the weight of just the griddle at that point. For $11 more than the 17", seems like a no brainer.
The deal is great for sure. But the 17 is def geared more for camping. They even make a backpack for the 17 and the front waste can is convenient too.

Could you camp/tailgate with the 22? Absolutely, would I? Ehh lol

I own both.

Also taking the hood on and off requires some bolts. It's not as simple to get it off and on.

I have the 17" and it's a pain. I got this 22 with cover last year and it's so much better. I have an rv that I use it at.

I have a 36" at home but I let it get rusty over winter so I got another one if these and will toss the 36".

I've been looking for one for camping and it seems like a good deal. Ordered online with free shipping. If it arrives dented up, my store has a few to exchange.

Id like to bolt this to the wheeled base with tank storage on my 2 burner grill. I know it can be done

Why are you going to throw it away? You can clean and season it and it will be like new

Hotdogs and burgers are called a bbq where I'm from.

We cook over coal and that's barbecuing.
