Looks like the deal is dead now. I went to my local store this morning and had them price match. Tried to pull it up on my phone right now to show the neighbor and price is back to normal. Got mine just in time!
They have some instructions on their website, best way is to use enough oil while cooking, use some cleaning pads they sell in store (orange ones), generally avoid the stones unless you have a real bad time with it.
Comparable? Not really.
My warehouse has one camp stove right now, a blue rhino triple burner that comes with a cast iron griddle for one burner. Over double the size total and 4x the price. Meant for running large stock pots mostly
I was at costco (another failed mission to get tp since im running out 😀). There was a nice looking camp chef 3 burner grill griddle combo for 229. Cover, stand included. this is just a fyi for discussion purposes.

Seasoned it yesterday and used it today to make some smash burgers but they got stuck all over the grill. Had a hard time scrapping and flipping them. I wonder if the surface wasn't hot enough that caused it so will need to do research on proper cooking method on these griddles.

you still have to use oil before you throw anything on it

I picked mine up from walmart. open it and i find the bottom of the griddle smashed near the heat thing that spit flames. I spoke with walmart chat support and they told me since I picked it up, I take it back to them for a replacement. This sucks..

Better than them telling you to ship it back at your own expense. I opened mine in the store when I picked up my order.

Exact thing that happened to me. I had to bring it back as my was also bent and smashed, was a pain in the butt.

I just ended up returning it. 22" is too big for two people. At least you didn't have to bring it up three flights of stairs. And then back down three flights of stairs. Huge PITA.
Ordered mine online and had it shipped. Arrived today and assembly was easy. Unfortunately the griddle itself was warped from corner to opposite corner. I made sure the stand itself is level. Emailed Blackstone support to see what they will do before returning it.
Absolutely! Having some ventilation is nice if you're cooking at high heat or for long periods of time. But, it's no different than using a gas range. I cook on mine indoors several times a week and have never had any issues.
Too bad this deal is now dead, it was a fantastic price. I have the 22" griddle already, but I paid $99 without cover or stand. I also have the 36". I looked at the 17", but it only has 1 burner and a thinner cooking surface. The 22" is a bit heavier yet offers significantly more heat output and more even heating due to the thicker steel. It can actually get a bit too hot at times, even on low heat, so I always have a squirt bottle of water handy to cool it down if needed.
