Great price, and 1" was too plush for me so this might be good

On a related note, the last one I had kept moving around pretty easily. Can anyone tell me if this has any similar issue like that?

Bought these a while ago, while the material is nice if you plan on running or jumping on these they might come apart since the only thing holding these together are the interlocking puzzles which can loosen

Hot glue will be needed for heavy duty users. Fine for most users from reviews

For those looking for more stable, durable, and large square footage matting, you should seriously consider stall mats from Tractor Supply stores. I used to work facilities running large scale University fitness centers and have seen many flooring types. Stall mats are a great and durable alternative for a home gym setup at a decent price. These tile style mats are ok for certain people/applications but they still have a lot of edges to collect grime and will not be as durable as a good ol stall mat.

I got these for the feet of my squeaky bedframe. I tried everything besides replacing it. Two years later it still works.

I used to .5" on my boosted board. Thinking about replacing it with the .75", to help ameliorate the vibrations.
Eventually though, I will have to replace my board with a belt drive system and rubber tires. ..
. I'm getting too old for this.

Anyone know the density of these vs horse stall mats? Been planning to get horse stall mats for my basement gym for a while now but these would be half the price and a little more manageable/customizable (plus the blue ones would be nice). I could put a little hot glue down to secure them. Just worried about workout equipment deforming them...

It probably depends on the application. I just picked up a horse stall mat from Tractor Supply for around $40 and it's incredibly dense. Feels and smells like a big sheet of tire. I will be using mine on a weight lifting platform to dampen the sound of my weights dropping and to protect the floor. So if you're wanting something to cushion your barbell/weights, I'd go with a horse stall mat. If you just want something cushy to do general stuff, the foam is probably fine.
