Why did Fry's go downhill?
9 channels which can upgrade l/process 11, Audyssey XT32, IMAX enhanced,VirtualX, Earc .
They dropped Auro3D but other than that you get a lot!

Don't think there are any receivers ( consumer facing) that support HDMI 2.1 yet
It won't be of much use unless there are 8k TVs or you want to do 4k@120 for gaming but then you wouldn't be sending gaming video via an AVR if you are smart.
