Great blades, but pretty much always around this price.

Recent reviews show quality may have dropped. There are a bunch of reviews like this one.

1.0 out of 5 stars These cant be genuine

This new box I received cuts worse than a disposable. The print looks different from the last box I purchased (from a different seller) and they tug and burn terribly bad. Even a first pass with a fresh blade. Its unbelievable. The last time I bought these they were wonderful.

2.0 out of 5 stars A shadow of their former performance
Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2020

I picked up my first box of these in 2013. Amazon tells me I have ordered these five times. Some of those orders were for multiple boxes. It seems in the last year or two something changed, and not in a good way. My first couple of boxes were clearly labeled Astra on the blade in a dark ink. The blades were sharp and lasted a good amount of time and as a result they quickly became my favorite. The new boxes I have received are not those Astra blades. The new item has the label etched into the steel and they seem to not last as long and are perhaps dull to start. Simply put, the cost cutting bug appears to have bit the Astra facility and I can't recommend them anymore. The only thing keeping me from giving a single star is the price, but I won't be buying any more.

Been using these since I started DE shaving January of last year. Still have about half a box that I bought from Amazon then, and I paid a little over $9.00. So I jumped on this.

Been using these. 100 blades have lasted me 3 years. Hopefully, I'll get the same blades as last time.

I haven't tried this brand yet. Any personal comparisons to below blades?

So far I have given Feather, Shark and Merkur blades a spin since I gave DE Shaving a try last year. I have some Derby blades on the way as well. So far Feather is best on my beard.

These are great blades. Ditch the cartridges and go DE!

These used to be very nice blades, but the last box I purchased was terrible. I cannot even get one good shave from a brand new blade. I wouldn't buy these again if they were $1.

If Feather works you probably best to stick with them. Don't want to be stuck with 100 blades you don't like. I have used these and Feather and I didn't notice much difference, so I stuck with these since they are cheaper.

I switch mine out every 2 weeks. I have half a box that I bought a couple of years back and bought a box of this recently. I think this will be about 5 years worth for 2 boxes. I feel like I am saving crazy amount of money with this.
My shaver was $40 (splurged a little on it) and 2 boxes were $19.....$59 for 5 years of shaving.
I have bought two of these exact boxes. They are good.

From what I have heard, these are the least sharp of the brands. I've only used these and they work great for me. My beard is thin.

Been using these for about 3 maybe 4yrs. Still have alot of the box left. I shave once maybe twice a week and change the blade monthly usually. The single blade makes it easy to trim. Been a huge money saver for me.

Agree. I read that they changed the product somehow and now they are not great anymore. I get about 2 good shaves from these and they become dull. Can't wait to use them and not getting them anymore. I guess it's true that you get what you pay for!
