I was thinking about getting https://slickdeals.net/share/ipad_app/t/13900226 but I let it slide. Happy I did cuz I ended up going for this one. Mainly using it for general pc using, light gaming and coding so it should do just fine. Will be upgrading the ram. Only drawback is that it only supports up to 32gb ram. Anyways, 1-3 days of shipping is better than the delivery date of the Alienware R8 I was about to go for. Let's hope it doesn't disappoint

Any downside to this setup with the lack of RAM? It's upgradeable I'm assuming?

CPU Benchmarks for Ryzen 5 2600X look very good.

Memory: 8GB DDR4 2666 MHz (supports up to 32 GB)

If I wanted to upgrade ram to 16gb. Which is better: match the ram already in this machine or buy 2 new identical sticks? Also, where do you go to find out which ram works for this machine?

That 32GB is based on 2 Memory slots and considering standard 16GB memory module size. If you can 32GB DIMM, you can go up to 64GB as that's supported by the cpu. There's no limitations in this desktop for the max memory size supported by the Processor.

Just upgrade the GPU and you've got a solid gaming PC.

Once you receive it, use CPU-Z to get the details of the existing ram like the voltage and timing (CL rating) and buy another matching the same. No need to buy two sticks unless you want higher speed ram.
