Seems like a good deal, but what ever happened to the 2070/2080 desktops for $1,100? Somehow theyre getting more expensive 5 months later when the new chips are due soon?

Would be an "acceptable" price if it came with a 2070S. Even a 2080S isn't asking for too much.

Meh, like everyone else says just a 2070 is kind of weak for this price. Last week had a 2080ti system for $1700 that was a much better deal then this one, https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/541697

I agree with everyone else, I have been keeping an eye prices since after Christmas and it feels like they are going up. Finally in a place where I can pull the trigger and now all the real deals disappear. If you need something right now this may be your best bet, but I'm waiting for better. I do hope I can find a good deal from Costco as I love their warranty and I'll probably get the credit card for an additional two years.

The difference between the cards is about 5 to 10 FPS... shouldn't be the main reason

Don't buy. Cheap PSU not enough to power the graphic card. Ordered one from Sam's, returned on the second day.

So 6 fps vs 16 fps?
230fps vs 240fps?
Raw fps is a poor way to show performance difference. It would be more accurate to say 10-15% fps, which is actually significant.
