I read something a while ago about instawatch purchases being shady. Could someone please remind why this is considered a shadowy way to redeem?

1) If the original purchaser returns the physical item to Walmart, Vudu may then remove the corresponding virtual item from your library.

2) Links sent by Vifgam may be expired. I just got one of those (on a different movie). Let's see whether Vifgam sends me a valid link (or refunds my money).

3) there's a credit card glitch that thieves are using when placing orders online. they'll cancel the order but the instawatch will still work (for the time being) until vudu starts tracking the fraudulently purchased instawatch and deletes them form accounts

In my experience with vifgam there is nothing shady about them I bought Jurassic World 5 Film Collection (InstaWatch HD) for $10 a week ago, the code they sent was invalid I sent an email and ask for a refund and not only they refunded my money they also sent me a valid code for free with an apology.
So far I made ten different purchases three of them were invalid codes and each time that happens you get the movies free with an apology for the invalid code.
Chances of unopened dvd return is extremely low and in my experience with this merchant they will be good for it

I sent my report (of an invalid code) this morning to info@vifgam.com . How soon will they respond? Or should I have used some other method?

You did send it to the right email, that's the one I used for invalid codes, in the subject line I used
Order No. #12345 Fulfillment for (your name here) If it falls on a weekend they won't reply until Monday so today being Monday they should get back to you soon I think.
You can also contact them on Facebook I think, but since I don't have facebook I contacted them at info@vifgam.com.
Also you may want to check your Junk mail because it frequently goes there unless they are in your contacts.

I purchased the Instawatch collection off Vifgam a few days ago and paid $7.50 for the Jurassic Park collection after getting a 25% discount. I also got the Planet of the Apes trilogy for $6.75 and the Resident Evil 6 film collection for $5.25.I used the 25% coupon for all 3 collections. All of these films are in HD. $19.50 for 14 HD films was a pretty good deal. The only link that didn't work was Planet of the Apes. Vifgam sent me another link that worked. I'd sent them an email about the expired link on Friday, March 7 and got the new link today, Monday, March 9. They did respond on Saturday, March 8 saying they were working on the issue.

I got an email today saying they were going to refund me the $6.75 that I'd paid for Planet of the Apes and then PayPal followed up with a refund email for the same amount. So basically I got 14 HD films for $12.75!

This was my first experience with Vifgam and considering how they handled this issue I'll be doing business with them again.

Honestly, I have no idea why this deal has -8 as a deal score. 5 HD Jurassic Park films is a steal at $10!

Oaraba, I wouldn't even bother posting vifgam deals here.

I posted one for Fast and Furious, The Fate of The Furious in Vudu 4k for a mere 75 cents and got a whole bunch of thumbs down.

Then, when that website listed Game of Thrones, seasons 1-7 for $10, I picked one up and didn't even bother posting that. I mean, why bother?

Wow $10 for GOT seasons 1-7 is dirt cheap! Wish I'd known about it.

So strange about the downvotes but guess I'll keep future Vifgam deals to myself from now on.

Yep, that's the biggie. Since you don't when the disc was purchased, you don't know what the return window is!

I thought Slickdeals is about posting a good deal and if that's what the general idea is and you know that you posted a good deal to the best of your knowledge, I'd say who gives a crap about the thumbs down!

Why would you buy a DVD and return without watching it? and how often does that happen?
