Great find, wish these would go on sale at Costco again...can't beat their warranty when purchased with the Citi card.

If you don't need touch screen and are okay with 1 inch smaller, (and a little more weight), this is better in every way I think:

https://www.newegg.com/utopia-blu...001A-00S86

$150 cheaper, 512 SSD (instead of 256), MX 150 2GB graphics card (instead of integrated).

LG Gram's primary value is in screen quality, weight, and battery life. That Zenbook's battery is WAY smaller (47 vs 72) and with a MX150 graphics card, guaranteed to be burned way faster too. I didn't bother comparing screen quality or weight, these are two completely different products targeted at different consumers...

I bought this at Costco and returned it a few days later. I bought the latest i7 version and I was unimpressed with its speed. Running Cinebench 15 on it verified that it's slower than my 8th gen i5 laptop. Perhaps due to its size, CPU needs to be throttled. Also the build quality was not on par with a laptop this expensive - for instance there was pretty noticeable keyboard flex.

Makes a kickass hackintosh that is actually useful for productive work than just be a cafe accessory for dweebs. The SSD can be replaced to higher capacity any time.

Pretty good early deal on the 2020 model at costco this week.

$150 more for double storage (At nvme speeds), 3200 ram vs. 2400, wi-fi 6, slightly better cpu speed and much better graphics seems like a pretty good deal

Ouch!...I just dropped 1850+ tax for the new 17" with a 1TB SSD (2x 500gb). For that sort of difference, I would have happily switched it out myself. Nice machine for sure, but way overpriced for what you get.
