Obligatory "Yes but how does it compare to an identically sized TCL 6 Series???"
During Sam's 1 day sale in July, it was this price and I got one. I've continued to watch the prices on it because I guess I love giving myself buyers remorse, but the closest it got was $949, until now. Good post OP.

Out of curiosity, how does it compare Smilie Is this equivalent to the UM7300? If so, seems pretty comparable

How is it? Worth the cost?

BJ's has 75" Samsung for same price. It has 3 year factory warranty. No HDR but I don't watch anything 4K. Better deal to me. Love Samsung.

Bought an open-box from Sams 4 weeks ago for $640. Love it! Terrific picture, customizable settings. Interface is smooth. Huge TV! Nice remote. Not a bad seat in the house! Keep in mind you will need a much longer TV cabinet/stand compared to a 65" TV. Length of cabinet should be at minimum 70" L by 14" D, unless of course you mount it to the wall.

Use this link to setup the TV. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/um8070

I am aware the link is a Different Tv, but it is on point.

I think so. Don't get me wrong, its leaps and bounds better than the 55in1080p Vizio 3D that it replaced, but its no premium UHD. It's also nowhere near P-UHD money. The processor runs like a scalded dog and the voice remote is a lifesaver with my inlaws. We actually gave it to them because our new living room is too small for such a massive TV but I liked it so much I got the 65in for our new living room, which is still a little too big.
