So, signed up for CBS All-Access no-commercials free 7 day trial with no coupons on their site.

Day 3 went into my account on their page and clicked Cancel Subscription. A pop-up offered me 1/2 off for 2 months. I clicked yes and now it shows 1/2 price promotion on my account for 2 months.

I also took advantage of this offer and was meant to get my May 26, 2020 and June 26, 2020 bills at $4.99. I woke up this morning to my June bill showing the amount billed as $9.99. I called customer service to complain that I was meant to have two months for $4.99. I was thankfully refunded the full $9.99 for this month's bill.

On 4/26 I was charged $9.99 and was in the cancellation process. During cancellation, I was offered $4.99 billed for the next two months which was to be 5/26 and 6/26. On 5/26 true to the offer I was charged $4.99 but today, 6/26 I was billed $9.99.

The billing (maybe through PayPal?) is jacked up!

Well, there's an AMEX offer for $5 of $9.99 for All Access.

Don't know about anyone else's experience...but...I have the non-commercial-free version...and it has been crap from day 1. Closed Caption ON by default (even though it's turned off everywhere it can be)...app is sluggish, at best, and sometimes it's so choppy & stuttery...it's impossible to watch - which sucks because they do have some good shows...

Sounds like your experience has unfortunately been exactly the opposite of mine. Works great here usually watch on either a Roku Ultra or Roku 3.

I've seen that the CC issue is quite common...Roku, especially, so it's awesome that you haven't experienced it...

Never had an issue with streaming either on my Roku 4 or Ultra. Did let my subscription expire recently (cancelled correct word). They send me a free month code every once in a while but when I try to use them, they say offer expired or code not valid. Waiting patiently for a better deal.
