Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I Have Mint too, seems like mint uses sprint in backend, when i checked my phone's IMEI it said sprint service is already active, thinking what to do, may be need to port from mint to some other carrier - for few days- then port to sprint...let me know if you also find out...
mint uses tm, not S

the imei checks the phone, not the number

so is possible the phone is still active on sprint , in which case u can still use on mint

above is my understanding that i believe to be accurate,

Yes, you have to use the no credit check link (not the one in the OP). If you are going to stay short term for ,.....

Yes Mint uses TS and I was able to go to next steps where you need to create account and then stopped. I want to know how long I can wait to activate if I buy this now?

If a company is giving you that much to switch then you know they are struggling. They are not fixing or improving anything anymore people they are barely maintaining. I'm cheap but I like my phone to work.

Ty for the post. You have an eye for crazy deals. Quick question... You think Google voice and other non Sprint prepaid/mvnos would qualify for the $300?
Any deal that involves a port promo the number has to be from another carrier. Services like Google voice are not considered but Project Fi I believe you can.

Ha, I didn't have to search hard on this one. Was on chat trying to get 5 lines actually activated from the Amazon $100 sim card deal online signup. As I listened to the chat spurt out garbage like the port will be complete in 24 hours (even without previous carrier account and pin and reminding them such over and over) the page refreshed and the $300 showed up.

Nothing was resolved on my port at 1am lol but was able to cancel the whole thing this afternoon. And going to sign up with my wife this time for the $300 just to be safe.

I read the disclaimer "Excl. 11+ Corporate-liable, prepaid & ports made between Sprint and related entities." as excluding prepaid sprint and Sprint Mvno's Not MVNO's in general.

Not sure about GV. I need to start using it. Would make my life easier trying to get deals.

there is much flaw in your logic.

one cannot go from money to switch=struggling=not improving.

the offer is to attract new customers, which i think every company wants to do..

so...lemme ask..which company , according to u, is not struggling? not giving switching incentive to new customers ?

..I'm sorry for making assumptions but when I read posts like yours with little to no information I tend to lean toward operator error.... What was the reasoning they denied your cards? Are you sure you followed the rules EXACTLY? If so, did you escalate your denial or just let it go and be mad about it?.....

totally agree w mr or mrs killer....

Yes, I would think the same, not including any prepaid Sprint / Sprint mvno's...

I've ported GV in the past and received promos. Also used GV for the free BOYD plan. Can't say about recently though.
