Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Yes, you have to use the no credit check link (not the one in the OP). If you are going to stay short term for the deal, do the no credit check for sure. If you are going to stay with sprint a couple of years or longer the credit check option might convert over better merger wise and allows you to jump on a financed phone later.

https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...check.html

Hit the "Bring Your Phone" box, and the next screen will then look like the normal $300 promo page but at checkout will only ask for DOB vs. SSN.
If you do the no credit check, will it be 1 account per line then? Or you can activate 1 line, then add more no credit check lines to it?

Click on the No credit check link in the OP. Then "Bring Your own phone"
Add your 1st phone and edit sim on left if you need to, add plan, decline insurance, then it goes to cart.
Under cart there is a "add device" or "Add Connected Device" click on that
Then you can add your 2nd phone the same way as above.
Keep repeating for phones 3-5

Ghengis, not sure about adding lines later as far as this promo goes. You would get the free 3,4,5 a few days later but I don't know about the extra $300's. . .so I would do all 5 at once

And I'm not sure how kickstarter plays into all this. I'm in for 5 lines family for this even though I only need 2 or 3 right now. . .

Kenpet, you can enter all the phones you are going to bring in online. Sometimes you are not able to enter the former carrier account and pin (port info) so you might have to call that info in after placing the order. And I'm not sure if you're trying to go from normal sprint right to no credit sprint, but your phone #'s need to be porting in from non sprint entities. For example, from Mint to this. When the port in is complete, your mint account will be cancelled (by the port).

I have a Visible Moto E6 which Sprint web site says its IMEI is compatible. My Visible service will run out after 3/18/20. I have the Visible account number and PIN for porting out. If I go to a local Sprint store today 3/14/20 and buy a BYOP SIM kit, do you think I can get the port-in process done by the end of Wed 3/18 ?

If I can't get a Sprint BYOP SIM kit locally, can I start the sign-up and port-in process before actually having the SIM on-hand?

you should see 4 options:

Waived Activation Fee - $30
No Credit Check required!
Switch To Sprint + Get $300
$5 AutoPay Plan Discount.
The above plus the following (if doing family plan instead of kickstarter)

Free 3rd, 4th, 5th lines
$10 off Plus or Premium per line

Basically, if you are doing the family plan and BYOD, might as well put them on Plus Plan. It costs the same as basic, and you get perks like 1080p streams and Tidal. Might even put one line on Premium for $10 more and get Amazon Prime and Lookout Prem.

Thanks need... Yeah I think it would be better if you have everything ready, just to add it at the same time so for sure you'll get the 5 lines for $100 plan. I already have a SWAC that just has 1 line and I also have a different account on the free 1 year byod that expires end of April. Maybe I'll call Sprint and ask them to move that to a regular paid plan so I can use that to open the 5 lines for $100. I don't want to keep opening accounts, different names of course.

Looks like I can port a number from Hello Mobile but not from Venn. Both are Sprint MVNO
Anyone port Hello and got confirmation of $300 promotion.

buy your sim kit at Best Buy, Target or Amazon....try to avoid the stores as much as possible. the blue shirts at Best Buy mobile can help you choose the right Sprint sim for your phone. Remember Sprint has different sims for different phones. you have to have the right sim for your specific phone. there are 3 in 1 sim kits and 4 in 1 sim kits and there are individual sims as well.

here is a good guide:

Thank you. So you can do multiple lines in the same order. That's good info. Also, when submitting the rebate, you submit all the lines in one rebate and not multiple, correct?

Thanks

Just commenting my plan/idea. I am currently on Sprint Unlimited Free Year BYOD. It ends this month 3/20, so I am going to simply port out to Google Voice, then port back into Sprint with a new account via the Kickstarter plan (unsure if a credit pull will happen again or if I can hopefully go with the no credit check route this time).

Then apply for the MasterCard and in a few months I'll hopefully get the $300. I did debate doing 5 lines with 5 eBay phones but... I feel like that is a bit excessive lol.

I'll report back how it goes!

I called Sprint Credit Dept. He was able to see both of my BYOD accts from the past 2.5 yrs. Since I left in good standing (zero balance), I shouldn't have any issue opening up a new acct. But if I try to do it online, the system may ask to call in (due to past accts).

Genghis Khan, I asked him about No Credit Check acct. He said upto 5 lines. But if I ever wanted to buy a device, then that will require credit check.Hope this helps. I suggest you call in as well since you already have multiple accts.

Thanks for the info. Before seeing your reply, I called the local Sprint store, talked to a couple of guys and they sounded like hungry sharks. They wanted me to come in and do the sign up in-store. When I told them that I wanted to do it online because there's a $300 promo. They asked one another about it, hemmed and hawed, then said "Well, come in and we'll see what we can do for you". Sounded more like "what we can do TO you" :-)

I have 2 lines (and 2 iPhones) on the sprint 1 year free plan thats ending next month. Say, I port them out today to say H2O (or somebody temporarily). Can I open a new sprint account tomorrow or in 2-3 days and port in those numbers and use the same iPhones and sims? Or will they still detect those phones to be with sprint?

i was trialing this byod no credit check page....and it seems if you plan to max out 5 lines, you'd need to choose the sprint unlimited basic where you get the 3rd,4th and 5th line for free, instead of the kickstart. kickstart is ok if you only 2 lines.

damn needgeech you are awesome! tried to rep you again but they say i need to spread the love....
