Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

The terms say "Credit approval req." but that is a general statement as the you get the same T&C from the deal whether you originate order from Credit account or No Credit Check account.

Terms for a Credit account: Hard Credit Check pull with SSN
Terms for a no credit check account: They check to see if you owe them money and aren't universally blacklisted, by DOB

Looks like several people doing no credit check have received email confirmation of $300 bonus. Hopefully somebody can or has (might have missed it) that they were doing 5 lines and got confirmation email of $300 x 5???

I was online chat with Sprint late Thurs. night trying to get my numbers ported in from Amazon $100 deal when this deal showed up after page refresh. Screwed up the port as I must have missed where to enter port in account info at signup. I quickly cancelled Fri. morning but am giving my phones and #'s a day or two off the system jic before signing up for $300 sprint with wife.

Did I miss something is signup? Was there a place to enter former account #'s and PIN's??

Sprint has been offering $100, $200 for awhile. Existing customer adding a line and port in are getting those debit cards. The only difference on this one is $300. Of course, this is Sprint. Nothing is guarantee.
$200 offer that was available to SELECT existing customers for porting a new line is quite different. Only one per acct. They had to accept the offer on your acct b4 you add a line to qualify otherwise it wouldn't work. So it was quite different than the current $300 offer for the new customers.

A lot of customer service reps are ill-informed and giving BS info to customers in order to boost sales and their commission. Last night Rep told me it would work for existing customers. The promo clearly says new customers...but it only says that under sprint.com/offers page. Not on the main page where it lays out offer details but doesn't say new customers explicitly. I always cross check with several reps b4 acting on any offer.

Many people had added a line to free BYOD plan last year in hope of $200 MC. Most didn't receive it. I was one of the few lucky ones. But I had to call them many times b4 I spoke to someone in the promo dept and she updated my rebate status. That's why this year you had to accept the offer on your acct b4 you would qualify for $200 MC existing customers offer. They had removed the banner and it would only show up for selected customers.

If we buy used phones on sprint site with this deal and pay full price I assume we are fine.

I don't think existing customers qualify. See the two attached screenshots.
i see that....and as needgech has said, those are general terms. on my free byod account i can byod a new line and it says i can get this $300. on my SWAC account if i byod, it says the same.

but again if you want to play it really safe, you can make a new account and do the deal, or take screenshots of everything, especially that $300 that would show on your order confirmation.

So if you're doing multiple lines it's better to do the Unlimited basic plan? Website says it's $100 for up to 5 lines.

I am creating a new account since I don't have any active acct now. The one from Jan is cancelled and it is more than 45 days now. I will call in on Monday and do it in one shot.

I have the one year free plan ending next month in April.

I'm thinking of adding these lines to same account. iMessage chat support says I need to talk to telesales.
The $25 Best Buy plan is cheaper for 3 lines. I'm thinking of doing 3. But if 4 will be the same on basic I guess I'll check the basic plan. Need to call telesales though.

Wait, so the current, active 1 year free customers cannot even do this deal? Lets assume they could port in totally unrelated numbers and unrelated new devices?

I've been off the BYOD train for a year, but the times I did them, they were credit check regular accounts. Was that the case on your latest? If so, just open a no credit check account. Yes if you are talking about taking the phones/#'s from BYOD you have to port out and back. . .but otherwise you are considered a new customer of the different type account.

Ghengis, how do you keep up with all those accounts? Wow

EDIT: That way you can take advantage as a "new customer" of a Credit account at a later time to take advantage of a similar GC deal or new phones deal. . .and possibly stick with the credit account long term if you have good sprint service like I do

yes the free plan is separate. you can add a line to your free plan and choose either unlimited kickstart if you just want 1 or 2 lines, or the sprint unlimited if you want up to 5 lines. and the switch to sprint + get $300 banner is there.
i stand corrected:
the sprint unlimited basic 1st line $60, 2nd line $40 and lines 3 to 5 free are only for new customers.
