Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Does anyone know whether I can change the plan before receiving the gift card? I ported 3 number in 3 separate order with the kickstart plan. Now I am thinking I can put them in the same account and change to unlimited basic, which will save me $5 per month and give me better features. TIA

Did anyone get a Google Voice line to work?

better to use your wife's name for a new account. do you have xfinity? you can get 5 lines on xfinity mobile 1 gb shared data for $12. turn off data so you don't use any. all you pay is taxes and fees per line for 5 lines and $12 for the 1 gb. then port out all 5 numbers to sprint.

btw, just got my 4th $100 virtual card for byod from visible today, good deal. number ready to port..

4 x $100 V VGC. impressive.

more impressive= how u keep track of which wife is account holder on which carrier.

but the line cost me $50 for staying 2 months. so it's just a $50 MM per line.

I jumped on this too soon on Saturday and ported in with a new No credit check account porting 3 lines for $100 on Unlimited Plus.
I have a few questions, there is a lot of back and forth on validity or prepaid/ google voice for the port in. Is there any consensus?
I have a ting sim from Target deal that I could port in. I am not sure if it will be an issue if I add new lines to plan. Will they qualify?
For the Lovemycreditunion.org cash back, do I need to be a CU member
Apologies for the lame questions.

I just successfully went through the online checkout. Haven't activated yet but it seems like it's fine.

There was a 2014 thread in the Sprint community forum (https://community.sprint.com/t5/S...d-p/521922) where someone asked a similar question - porting in a GV number to qualify for a Sprint deal that required a port in.

The Sprint rep replied that Google Voice was not considered a carrier.

I don't know though if anyone who has actually ported in a GV number got the deal/credit.

I think I'll play it safe and just port in my FreedomPop (AT&T) phone number.

I can't seem to sign up and wondering if this is because I'm on Google Fi (which relies partly on Sprint), or if it's because I bought my phone used (but unlocked).

After entering my IMEI:

I have same question. Did you get an answer yet?
