Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I'm in NYC what would total monthly taxes and fees be for all 5 phones, approximately +/-?
I could do this with my Moto G7, my Moto E4, and a friend's Apple iPhone X.
Unless I can find an old Samsung(?) phone I've got here somewhere I'd have to move ASAP and buy 2 more ultra cheap phones + 2 bare bones super cheap voice service plans + x2 SIMS ... so I could port over a total of 5 BYOD.
(any good suggestions on this ^?)
Can someone explain what the $50 referral is, and how it's applied?
I had two rounds/years of Sprint's BYOD which terminated on January 27th. Both the G7 and E4 were previously on Sprint's free year plans. When I do a dry run the IMEI numbers work.
So if I do the 5 line deal I can just open new account with Sprint, correct? (I seem to recall when I signed up for my second free year Sprint just automatically opened a fresh new account instead of reactivating the old one).
Thanks
Or you can move your sim to a new device, and get service without calling Sprint?
People doing "no credit check" option mention they get errors when trying to add new lines later -- don't think it'll be a problem for accounts with credit check but I'll wait
Thanks

You can't just switch sim cards between phones -- you need to register/change phone IMEI and sim ICCID when swapping phones
Not sure if Sprint improved its online system yet to do it yourself -- you can do online chat or call CS for "device swap" (don't say "phone upgrade" which is something else)

Pay GV to unlock the number for porting -- give GV account info to Sprint when porting
Sprint uses different sim card part numbers -- you need the sim part number that's compatible with your phone

But I had to google the link.

You can then set up service/port using whatever method you need.
Lets see what others say
Any body got same problem?
Refer the 4 lines: 2x$50 GC's each line = $400
Cashback for each line: $75 x4 = $300
Gift Cards: $300 x 4 = $1200
Kickstart: ~$40/m after tax/fees x 5 ($200/m)
After a few months, move the kids lines over to Tello for $7/m and either keep the adults lines on Kickstart or switch to Visible for $100 BYOD and $25/m all in price. Just need ti figure out if the Sprint referrals and Cashback will stack.
