Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

You probably won't see approval/confirmation until you've met the required time-in-service (90 days).

I've been with Sprint for years. Didn't know the referral till this post. Where do I find the referral link? Is it under my Sprint account? Thanks in advance.

If it is truly unlocked it should work fine. I know mine is up and running on this deal without any issues.

Mine is pending and I assume will stay that way until 90 days is up.

During the ordering process, I didn't see a place to order port-in info (previous carrier account info and pin). I only entered the phone number and which byod device it applies to.

Did you already enter the previous (current) carrier account and pin during ordering process?

I received an email from Sprint showing the last 4 digits of my sprint account no. The emails confirms the charge for the sim card I ordered (1 sim card was priced at 2.99, rest at 0). The email also confirms the autopay setup.
Can I setup my online account access with sprint now before porting?
Yup. There was a section for entering that information, account number and pin.

I only ordered for one line and there was a section that said something like don't worry we'll send you a sim that will fit your device and at checkout, it showed $0.00 for the sim.

If you just want to buy a phone to do the deal, there are phones that don't cost much, like the Sprint LG Stylo 4+ for $79.99 on HSN (get $10 off if you're a new customer), or buy a pre-owned LG Tribute Empire on Sprint web site for $55 shipped.

As far as the costs vs rewards:
- Pre-owned phone $55 shipped + 4 months of service x $41 (with tax & fees in my case) = $219
- Rewards: $300 GC + $80 cash back + $50 if you use a referral = $430

You decide if it's worth your effort.

So I placed two orders on different dates with the same account, should I submit the rebate twice by selecting different purchase dates?

My understanding was you only get $50 per account and not per line. Do you have a source where this is listed?

If the people who use your referral link to create 10 accounts (not lines) then you get the max $500.

Ok thanks. I need two lines, but not two accounts.
