Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I thought the SIM is tied to the phone so it's not easy or even possible to swap the phone?

So if I bring in an unlocked iphone, it will be locked to Sprint for 60 days at least?
Sprint sims are not necessarily interchangeable between phones unlike a tmobile or an att sim. that is why there are a lot of sim part numbers which will only work on a specific phone. so if you swap a phone, you need to make sure that you have a compatible sim for that new phone.

if you bring an unlocked iphone they may re-lock it for 50 days. you can request unlock if phone is paid off and been with sprint for 50 days. others maybe have a different experience meaning their phones were not locked. this pisses a lot of customers i know.

others with recent experience may chime in.

is it safe to say that regardless or which offer u participate in...it is always a good idea to start with referral?.
..another way to ask...
.if u start with referral, will u be ineligible for another offer like AA miles or LMCU?
I don't know which entity administers the offers from AA, LMCU, Walgreens, etc so I can't say whether or not using the referral will interferes with them. Procedure wise, the Sprint referral is done as a separate step (pre-register, then come back and complete it after having an account number), so unless all the promotions are administered centrally by Sprint, one company wouldn't know what was claimed with another company.

hehe desi workin' it.

i think a referral is a "right". as long as you are eligible you should get it.
the AA Miles, LMCU etc are part of the Sprint Perks program where you can only participate in 1.

Looks like iPhone SE uses SIMOLW506C. So I can swap to another phone compatible with this SIM part?

The part that bothers me is that I can't use Kickstart. I need hotspot.

I ordered new sims last night, and requested overnight shipping. How quickly will they get this order to the shipper?

They're full of shit. They've denied me on all the prepaid/gift cards I've put in for.
So whether by design or accident, Sprint is a huge pain in the ass to deal with on these promos. I've done a ton of promos with various companies, and Sprint is probably the worst. I've done 2 gift card promos with them, in both cases I had to make many calls and chats. Finally they did make good on both offers, so persistence pays off. But most people would've given up. My advice: try to get everything in writing with chat, since you can get a transcript.

Yes you can swap the phone online and if it uses the same part number, I think the system will let you do it. Let us know. But for some it's better to stick one sim to that phone. Makes it easier. That's why you don't throw old Sprint sims. They always come in handy.

If it goes correctly, like with my 1st order, got an email from tcb about 10 minutes later, and showed up in my dashboard the next day. If it goes missing, like with my 2nd order, could be a long 3-month wait for them to research.

I don't know how overloaded they're now. I ordered SIMs from Sprint on Sat 3/14 afternoon, they shipped by UPS Next Day Sun 3/15 evening, received it Monday 3/16 morning.
