Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I read several times to understand your scenario. Please find my response, if my understanding is correct.

Account#1:

Added new line - Samsung S20 - Locked to Sprint for 18 or 24 months since it is under monthly credit option - Not sure Sprint will unlock after 50 days of service. If unlock is not possible, phone swap is very difficult. If you can unlock S20 after 50 days, you can swap the phones by chatting with CS team which will be very easy swap in Sprint.

New Account#2 -

iPhone 11 Pro with new line port in under brand new account - Eligible for $300 promo. In some cases, Sprint is locking BYOD fully unlocked devices for KS plan. If you can get S20 unlocked from AC#1, you can swap the S20 and iP11Pro which will not impact the $300 promo. Unlocked phone swaps won't affect any promotions. It is safer side to swap after 50 days.
They won't get unlock til phone is fully paid off. However, it can be moved around within one's S account. Not positive but a call to S CS may allow a move of numbers. As long as the number applying for rebate is still active after 90 days, then rebate should be approved. Makes no difference what phone is on that line. That is my understanding. Maybe someone can concur.

If they have 1 phone on 2 different accounts, then they just need a third S phone to swap things around. Correct?

No choice unfortunately, wasn't approved online and failed the verification questions over the phone.

Telesales insists this is online/telesales only, but I don't see that stated anywhere. So I was hoping someone could confirm that this can in fact be done at a store.
Did they give you 4 verification questions about random people/places you've never heard of in your whole life?

Do an online chat, they should be able to help since it's brand new account.

Just insert it in the phone. Update PRL and Update Profile..under mobile networks or wherever it is based on the type of your phone.
But how do I submit port in information ?

No. They have two phones in two different accounts and planning to swap across the accounts with monthly credit S20. S20 unlock is not an option now, so they can't swap the phone until fully paid off S20. But they are eligible for $300 promo on new ac with iP11 pro.

Question, once we did a gift card deal with Verizon, we ended up leaving sometime after getting the gift cards. They sent it to collections. Is it for sure that won't happen here if you leave after you get your GC's?

Also what does the referral get you that makes the deal sweeter. Also do you have to already be with Sprint to get the credit union deal?

Thank you for your help and advice!

All these referral, CU and gift card are for new account sign up, If you meet all the requirements, you should be OK to leave any time after you receive GC. There is no contract here.

Thx for your info! Yes, your layout was exactly my situation. My Samsung S20 is locked for 18 months with Sprint. It's good to know that swapping the phone won't impact the $300 rebate. Does the Samsung S20 phone has to be unlocked in order to swap? Both lines will all with Sprint.
Yes. S20 needs to be unlocked for swap. If you request for unlock, you need to pay remaining amount along with ETF( Based on Sprint T&C). IMO, don't touch S20 now and keep iP11 with new account until $300 card.

I only had 4 phones so for my 5th line I just paid $50 for sprint refurb LG Tribute phone. Several other people have mentioned doing that. You can probably buy 5 of them— hard to find dummy phones on CL or FB marketplace for much cheaper than that and saves the hassle of coordinating pickup
