google voice, $3 to unlock a number
Yes, it is $3 to unlock. But not that easy to get a GV number if you already used your mobile to get one. I don't see people mentioning this. So previously used numbers to get a GV number will not work to get a new one. So u need spare mobile numbers to get a GV number first. Then comes the $3 cost for unlocking. To get 5 GV numbers, it may not be so trivial.

I was able to get at least 2 GV numbers with my old S line, if it locks, I asked S to change my number so I can get more GV numbers!

Most people don't change the number. Though the trend may be changing with more folks using GV to mask their real number and that way make it easier to switch around for getting great deals. At least, that trend is visible with SDers. I don't think it is that widespread outside of our SD community.

GV definitely made it easier for me to be in the 1yr free plan for a few years, then this. I don't really care what the number is as most of my contacts know my main GV number.

The other GV numbers were just throw aways for porting.

Is it true?
If you do 'no credit check' then you can't get the $30 activation fee waived?

You must live in a city/state with high taxes. My bill in Kansas comes to $40.87/month with taxes and fees.

I guess google voice is not eligible for $300 offer since it's not a competitor for Sprint. Please check it once with sprint before port-in.

You need multiple Google accounts to get multiple GV numbers.

So. I have two lines with Sprint. I own both IPhone 8's. And a significant other willing to put the numbers in his name.
Is there any way to port out and back?
