Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I am so happy I stopped using Sprint. I REALLY think they're a terrible company.
Pretty soon it'll be TMobile. Does that name sound any better

I wanted to port 2 lines at the same time (for same payment) but I didn't see the option to add the 2nd line. Can I port 1 line with TCB and another with BeFru? Thanks

Honestly, I'm not sure. I can only say I'm using Consumer Cellular and like it very much.

WIth Sprint CEO's response to COVID-19 yesterday, does that mean even the Kickstart plan will now have 20gb of hotspot?

Have you complained to the better business bureau and told sprint what they are doing is illegal, or do you just like to complain on Deal message boards?

Glad you like it. What are you doing in a Sprint thread then?

For most of us here, it works for us and we love Sprint! Smilie

if you put in IMEI it will recognize if it has the SIM or not. If not, Sprint will send you a new SIM

As with all cell providers, location is so important especially with data but as far as connectivity, I very rarely have dropped calls or other issues with Sprint but I'm also near a large city. It's why we always recommend trying the service first. If CC works for you, then stick with it.

1. Contact your current carrier to get your account number & PIN. If you receive a monthly bill, that info should be on the bill.
2. If you place your order with Sprint online, it'll ask if you want to get a new number or port-in a number. Select port-in, then enter your current phone number, acct #, and PIN. With my two orders, there are boxes on the screen for that info although some people said they never saw them. See attachments.
3. If you place your order with Sprint over the phone, the rep will ask for that info.
4. The port-in will take place when you activate your SIM. If you already have the SIM and enter its number, the port-in takes place right away. If you have to wait for new SIM, the port-in will take place when you go to the activation site or call Sprint and provide the SIM number.

If that's the case, then there's plenty of those around here. Just playing by the rules. Nothing sleazy about it.

home many lines did you port?

on my Unlimited Plus order with 5 lines, no screen to enter port info.

But for my 2 single line Kick Start orders, I had a similar screen as yours.
