Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

you can port to google voice and come back. but thre is info that the port in number should be active 40 days in prev netwrk
How can they know if the number has been active in another carrier for 40 days? They know if I port out my current free byod number out to another carrier then try to port back into sprint for 300 dollars?

I finished reading the community wiki and still have questions. Appreciate if somebody can help a bit.

I am going to port in 4 lines and I already have the sim cards. At step 1 in the wiki, "Get your order number and passcode (from your order confirmation when you placed your order)", I assume this order number is the order when you purchase your sim card. In my case, I already have the sim card, where should I start?

Another question is, I should create a new online account then activate 4 sim cards in same order. Is that correct?
dont forget the cb sites, Bfru has $80 and tcb also has $80 per activation.

Just signed up with Kickstarter, on confirmation page it shows the 300 dollar promo for each line. I have Sprint SIMs already when I was on the BYOD free plan, I ported to Xfinity after it ended, coming back home. 🤣
I'm on the BYOD plan as well, and I think it expires next month. When did you go off of BYOD, and how long were you with Xfinity if you don't mind me asking? Wondering what I need to do to make this happen? I've got two lines with Sprint now, and I could add a third if it's worth my while. Thanks in advance!

So from what I can gather, it looks like I have to port out of Sprint BYOD to Google Voice or another carrier for at least 40 days. Has anyone else done this recently and succeeded in getting the $300 gift cards or any other incentive that are probably aimed at attracting new customers?

It's 45 days and no one has got the 300gc, hasnt even been 90 days since this started. You can try port out and port back in with a different SSN, but YMMV.

OK, so I created five new lines and the numbers to be ported in, as well as their associated sim numbers were entered as part of the process. I received an order number and PIN.

Now what do I do to activate lines and make sure numbers get ported?

I tried activation page with order number and zip, but the page says there are no activations associated with my number.

Do I just need to be a bit more patient, or am I missing something?
