Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Well, mostly complete here.

Had five phones in hand, as well as five sim packs. Clicked on referral link, then onto creating lines. Completed five, and BF shows $400 - though I don't expect that to last.

Started chat session to get account number. Chat session was able to activate lines and port in process. Verified successful port on three lines so far; not expecting any issues with the other.

Still cannot create online account ID. But I won't worry about that until tomorrow.

No onto completing five $300 rebate requests.

Awesome that things are moving along! As standard procedure, Sprint will eventually send a link that allows creation of online account.

Currently have Sprint, my contracts almost up. I will never go back to sprint. They have the worst customer service and service in my area is poor.

agree with you, only 1 or 2 bar in my area, i am in this for the $ due to not able to work now. every $ helps for me.
All carriers have weak spots, so not really helpful information unless you specifically want to warn people who live in your area, but then you've not told us where your are.

I bought mine on Friday 3/20/20, the pre-owned price was $49. It's still available right now for $49 (plus about $6 for shipping).

Another data point for everyone. I Ported in 5 lines and purchased 5 refurbished LG Tribute Empires at 49.00 each. Bee fruugal is showing $625 CB for the transaction. The extra cash back earned from buying a device from Sprint makes the phones $4 each plus tax. Really no need to BYOD

Although the conditions for Pre-owned include: some wear and tear; the one I got had absolutely no marks on the screen nor the phone body/back.

Great angle that you guys have identified — completely eliminates need to come up with your own phones!

I also ordered the pre-owned Tribute Empire with my new line order. I did it through tcb and unfortunately that was the one order they failed to track (never happened to me at tcb before). I've submitted a claim but will have to wait 2-3 months for their decision.

Bummer, reported in other places that TCB been having many tracking fails recent months. Hope that they are able to resolve manually for you!
Yeah. I read many bad posts on another site about TCB, but they tracked my past orders, including line 1, just fine, so I used them for line 2. Didn't know about BF until a few days ago.

I won't be able to confirm until my order arrives, but I have a hunch Sprint replaced the LG Tribute Empire with the Tribute Royal. I'm thinking they may have just reboxed new unsold Empires and sold them as refurbs.

Sprint transactions track very quickly, so that not look good. Hopefully, it still come through.

Yes, it's very strange. I even had the TCB extension active. I have done claims with TCB in the past before, however, and it worked out well.
