Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Yeah, trying to determine the best path to resolve this.

The $300 x 5 rebates were submitted before I received the message from Sprint about Walgreens, so I hope it won't be an issue.

Can I change my phone so long it is in compliance after activation? Or does the imei I used to order have to be on the account for for a minimum amount of days? This happened to me on Metropcs a couple of years ago and nullified my free Amazon Prime.
I know bumping your own post is frowned upon, but this is an important question. If anyone has the knowledge, please chime in.

I don't see anything on terms.

If that's the case, I'm screwed on my Unlimited Plus account, I've changed phones on some of them, maybe even all.

Don't want to ask the obvious, but have you tried chatting with a rep? If so what did they said.

Sprint is too fragmented and dysfunctional an organization to provide you clarity. Your only realistic options are to abort with 30-day satisfaction guarantee, or chill and see what happens. My inclination would be to go the chill-and-see route, because that's how I roll with this hobby.

Any number of associates can provide any number of different answers and assurances with no impact on final algorithmic determination of which rebate/s you get. Ultimately, if you make your case with enough people, you might get Sprint credits in substitute for supposed loss.

For same name + address, one can have one credit-check and one no-credit-check account.
Thank you. You are saying this limit is specifically for this promotion or in general? What happens if I just create a second no credit check account (different email, but same name and address)? The system doesn't allow or (most likely) the promotion will be denied? Because for the promotion, creating a credit check account still means I'm not a new customer (I already have a no credit check account). If you could clarify, as you seem to be knowledgeable. Thanks!

Credit approval required may not be the same as credit check required.

You can swap out device at any time. Call the cust service and tell them u want to swap out a device with another one...u can use the same sim if compatible with the phone u want to swap with...no restrictions on this..just tell them not to charge any activation fee...just to be safe...they usually don't...but be safe than sorry.

Sprint will lock the mobile even though if you bring BYOD to this deal and after 50 days, we need to chat and request for unlock which will be easy. My BYOD device on KS locked to Sprint and 30 days completed. I will request for unlock in 20 days.

so I have put in IMEI that I cannot use.
Is it ok to switch to another device even before port-in is done?

That's a misleading statement. Only phones unlocked by Sprint before may get locked again. Not all BYOD phones. My E6 from Visible is still unlocked.

It's easy to activate a new phone or swap one device for another:

1. Visit sprint.com/activate and click on the Sign in to Activate button.

2. Sign in to My Sprint using your username and password.

• Select an active device on the account to swap.

3. Confirm your email address or provide one if the field is empty.

4. Select your device in the New device to activate area.

5. Carefully review the instructions on how to back up your contacts and content; click Continue to proceed with activating your new device.

6. Confirm your new device and review your current plan choices. Depending on your specific account and device combinations, you may be required to change your plan or services.

7. Click Activate and wait five minutes.

8. Set up your new device and verify that your voice and data services work.

Important notes:

• Be sure your device battery is fully charged.

• Keep the box handy if you're activating a new device in case you need information from it. Don't worry; we'll point out where to look.

• Only an account owner or a person who is authorized to make account changes can activate a phone or complete a swap. If you're not authorized, sign in and we'll help you request permission.

• If you are using a phone that's been previously activated on our network, you'll be prompted to perform a master reset. This clears any previous data that can interfere with your activation. Click master reset complete to continue to the next screen.
