Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Okay. Do you know if port out current sprint number to GV and port in again to Sprint will work?
get a new number from ebay or GV, use it to port to sprint. Then port your 20 yr number to GV and have that number forward to your new sprint number.

we can use the phone's native dialer app for calling on Gv, can we do the same for texting? use the phone's native text app instead of the GV text app?

Looks like I don't have a choice than to order separately and then at the time of SIM activation
I will call and ask them to add all in single account - the first order account. I should be able to get the 100 for 5 lines as long as I choose UL in each order to begin. The only downside is that I might loose cashback on some orders.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, you can't mix and match BYOD and device purchases. So all the lines you're adding have to be BYOD or all the lines you're adding have to be device purchases. Otherwise, you get the message that you see.

I use the GV app for text.

If you're on iPhone you will see it tries to dial a different number.

With Androids, call history shows the actual number dialed with GV

thanks and you are right - all byod or all purchase allows multiple in one order

Yeah I got android, and can use either the GV app or phone dialer to call. But was thinking if using the android text app would also be possible.

I use the native dialer for calls and the GV app for texts. It might be possible to use the native text app if you have your texts forwarded, but I dont bother to do that.

thats annoying about iphones, I had hoped things would be more integrated now than when my wife last used one years ago. I plan on trying an iphone X today, ordered the used one from Sprint. Will resell if it annoys me too much.

They do if you don't use the No-Credit-Check option.

I don't think it is. I've never bothered trying. it will probably be confusing if possible as the sender will not show correctly.

I ordered an iPhone X that I ordered from S too, and unfortunately it behaves the same way. Very confusing if you're not used to it.
