Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Unfortunately, based on my experience, you can't mix and match BYOD and device purchases. So all the lines you're adding have to be BYOD or all the lines you're adding have to be device purchases. Otherwise, you get the message that you see.

thanks and you are right - all byod or all purchase allows multiple in one order
Sprint wanted me to call in after I do a BYOD or purchase a device and add the rest that are different. I said no thanks. I've heard horror stories about that.

Either of you know if portals work if purchasing the LG Tribute Empire on its own?

What is sprints policy on returns? Want to purchase multiple only if portals will pay.

Did you place single order for all the 5 lines or 5 separate orders? I am trying to add all 5 lines in single order but getting message to complete the transaction of first one and then proceed.
I placed all 5 lines in same order.

Question for those who had added multiple lines on different days (NOT at the same time): are the bills for the later lines becoming available separately (about 4 days after activation) or lumped together with the bill of the 1st line?

bought 3 in one order, still tracking accurately.

Are you going for another 5 lines?

Lumped together. Depending on how many days passed since the first activatiom, you might not get all the lines showing on the first bill.

new account of 5 lines, ordered 5 phones total.

I think I'm out, 10 lines is enough risk for me. Or maybe I change my mind in a few days.

Thanks for the info. I added line 1 and line 2 to separate accounts and each got a bill 4 days after activation. I added line 3 to acct #1 on 3/27 and haven't seen its bill. Since it was bought from HSN with a $35 credit for the first month I was wondering if Sprint had applied the credit.

According to the wiki BYOD free plan lines won't work if they were ever on sprint meaning port out port in won't work. Wouldn't your case be disqualified by that clause ? Please share your experience if you were able to do this
That is FALSE information (new customer does not mean NEW NUMBER or number that has never been on their network). If that were the case so many numbers have been in and out of their network with different owners (numbers are recycled) that people who are legit new customers with a "new" (or recycled) number would not qualify and it would be a shit show.

Sounds like a wise decision. Ten phone lines (for same address if that's the case) are highly irregular.

Different address. And if I got brave enough to do another, would use a third address.

I left sprint a year ago, am I considered a new customer even though I'll be porting a number that I've used with them before?

Do you have different credit card with different address? Or did you use prepaid gift card for different address?
