Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

It took mine over 12 hours to actually start working after activating sim card and putting in phone. Just keep resetting phone, although going off the time passed since your post, it should be working by now?

How are you doing the buy phone option? Going that route does not show the $300 promo in the cart, only when you follow the Bring Your Device option (which requires IMEI). I want to buy the phone, but then the promo doesn't show in the cart. It shows when you already have the phone and enter IMEI.
Is there any solution to that?

Call porting dept. Have them double check the IMEI and sim numbers.

Not sure how successful people have been adding lines to an existing account. There was some discussion a few pages back. I would probably recommend buying 2 phones first, and then trying to add a line later if you're planning that route -- guarantees at least 2 lines eligible for $300 card. You can also create 2 different accounts if you use different names. Cost would only be slightly more if you go for 3 KS plans ($105) vs. 1 U+ plan ($100).

Thanks, yes, but when I log in, it disappears. Probably meaning this promotion is not valid on existing accounts (even though I got confirmation, twice, that this promo does not require a new account). This is very risky if you are not doing all at once in a new account.
