Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Should be OK if you out of Sprint more than 45 days. But your Moto G7 might get relocked by Sprint during the process. Good news is you can call their CS to unlock it again. To play it safe, do a no credit account if you original account was credit approved.
G7 was never locked in the first place ... got it on unlocked on the Google promo last in 2019.

I would not feel comfortable trying to get this rebate with a phone number that was on Sprint 2 months ago. That said, decent chance it works. You could port your number to Google Voice and have it forward calls to your new ph number.

Is there an easy tutorial on doing that, port to Google voice and forward calls & txts to new number?

If I decide I have to get a new n umber for my G7 currently on MINT, what's the sequence and process of, a.) porting the G7 into Sprint with a newly purchased ebay ATT phone number, and b.) porting my primary number (currently on MINT) to Google voice?
It's getting more complex!

If I want to use that Moto G7 and guarantee it will qualify for the promotion, will I need to register it with a different phone number, for ex. buy another ATT number of ebay for $4? If I do that, how do I keep my old phone number (my only primary phone number!?). Would there be anyway to set it up so I not only do not lose my primary number, but also still somehow receive calls/txts made to my primary number??
If you want to meet the letter of the terms, you need to port a number from AT&T or another carrier like Google Voice, where you can create a number, then port it out for $3.
You can retain your old number by porting it into Google Voice for $20, then pointing that number to send calls and text to your new Sprint line.

I was referring to the Pixel that you mentioned, it says full price $300, which I assume its not a lease? And also a lot of the other phones don't have the 300 MC offer listed, but you are still buying them, so I wasn't sure if they qualified or not.
Yes pay the full 300 on checkout and port in a number then you qualify. It should show the 300 promo upon checkout. You can do a dry run all the way and take a look.

Even the $49 refurb tribute empire will qualify. Just pay the full asking price for any phone to qualify.

I think you could do it in any order. Your Mint account wont close just because the phone is activated on Sprint, will it?

How to port to GV: https://support.google.com/voice/...5667?hl=en

I submitted a cashback claim since it did not get tracked. Anyone successful in seeing the cash back amount after claim submission
It usually takes 30-90 days for them to resolve a manual claim, including if it is a rejection of the claim.

Is that per Sprint or just general consensus?
It is definitively known that one can only have one credit-check account. And, one can close that account and reapply as new after 45 days.
Many on the thread have been able to create a no-credit-check account in addition.
People have talked about creating more than one no-credit-check, but no one has categorically come back and verified success.

They are closed for today. i will have to call tomorrow. i will rather not take chances. will just get them to cancel my order.
While it is reassuring to have the $300 message if you are paranoid, it is not required anywhere in terms and conditions of offer—new account + new-to-Sprint number—which you have indeed met.

Some have said that if there is another account in same name + address that has a balance, this can happen. Solution: pay off the balance, even if it is not overdue.

Also, if the system is acting up, you need to give it hours, not minutes to reset.

The Community Wiki says 5 lines for Unlimited Plus is for $100. However, I couldn't find out how to make it happen.

In this page, https://www.sprint.com/en/support...nform.html it is showing 4 lines is for $180 and 5 lines for $210.

What did I miss here? Can somebody explain a bit?

I dont have any balance under both names, but I'll try with a different address maybe a few days later.
